This bastard should be charged. By "retiring" doesn't mean all your crimes are over and forgotten. If this bastard and his family members are not persecuted then Singapore justice system is here to COVER UP ELITES CRIMES. Total failure.

There were wrongdoings alright. By his wife and son. They committed offences and tried to cover up. Ultimately, incriminating and victimizing the maid. His son has a history of lying in court and made a bankrupt for cheating.

those people who work in airport like CEO, Chairman under Temask group once they well paid.work long years.(once greedy of money ) either ask to early retirement.can cover the story .

Maids don't have the luxury to do that. They have to always think of why they are here in the first place. They didn't come here to be a maid so that they could have a good life for themselves when they go back home. They are here b'cos their family. Do you know how hard it is to get a job in their country? So no matter how much they have to suffer, they'll think of their loved ones back home and bear with it. For us Singaporeans it's different, we'll make a report or leave and find another place to work.

A high ranking official who thought charging a maid will have the favour of the courts. The prosecution just took it for granted without investigating further as the case is from a high ranking official. This case should not even have gone to court if a proper investigation was done. What is done is done just be assured justice must be served no matter who or what you are.
